We’ve got to go whole heart.

That line from this song just gets to me. It feels like a mantra for the year.

I don’t think anyone knew what we were in for in 2020, but one thing I’ve found is that I feel more connected to a lot of my friends and family than I have in a long time. Do you feel that too? Because whether we are facing the pandemic or cancer or any other challenge, these times make space for deeper, more intentional connections. And I think that’s a pretty beautiful byproduct of the times if you ask me.

I made this little video of my Birthday weekend mainly just to say thank you to everyone who made it so special. From the surprise scavenger hunt with gifts from friends all over the country, to dinner with friends, to my chemo room being decorated, to our mountain adventures… it all just felt like one big “whole heart” weekend. You made me feel so loved, and that makes me want to love better and bigger. To go whole heart while facing this unique year of 32. So thank you for loving people well It’s the best birthday gift I could have asked for.
