When I was diagnosed a few months ago with breast cancer, it felt like my world was closing in. I immediately started to mourn all the things that would be taken away from my life as I fought against cancer. My hair, my ability to have kids naturally, my body parts, my energy, my confidence to date…I felt like I was losing so much. So much was being taken away so quickly.But when I allowed myself to take it all in, I realized that this time was also an opportunity. American Honey was launched right in the middle of the mess as a way to show people that our faith can be bigger than our circumstance. That we can chase our dreams while facing adversity. That we can use our pain to become our platform to help other people. This boutique is far more than an online clothes store. It’s hope. It’s faith in action.
