Red and orange. Two of my favorite fall colors.

But what these colors are currently making me think of are the pictures I’ve seen from my home state fires. Pictures with no filters are completely red and orange from the smoke and fires. It blows my mind. It doesn’t seem real.

All I can think is that better days are coming. This too shall pass. Eventually blue skies and fall leaves will come back in full color, and we will appreciate their vibrancy that much more.
