I’ve had 10 fillings and 1 root canal these last couple of weeks😳

Between doctor and dentist appointments lately, I’m really putting my insurance to work😜

I grew up thinking I was one of the lucky ones who never had to get braces or get a tooth pulled.

But oh how the tides have turned!

Chemo impacts everyone differently, but it has really been hard on my teeth! Chemo can change your salivary glands and the healthy balance of bacteria in your mouth. So despite flossing and using special toothpaste and mouth wash daily, my teeth really struggled.

I was starting to think that dentures didn’t seem too bad😂 But I made it through chemo thank goodness and now it’s time to smile from here on out😁
