“Life can turn on a dime, as the saying goes, and we have certainly found that to be true. We have also found that God’s grace can appear in unexpected places, even while that dime is still spinning.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Brenna had Stage IV breast cancer that metastasized to her brain, leading to five brain surgeries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Her entry in our breast cancer themed Christian devotional is entitled “I Do” and is all about her relationship with her husband while fighting cancer. What a power couple!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“When we said ‘I do’ so many years ago, we meant every single word. With love and passion for one another, we committed ourselves to the care and betterment of each other. Our vows were not mere words said as part of some ceremony, but they were concrete foundational blocks on which our lives would be built stronger together than we could possibly be apart. ‘We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps’ (Proverbs 16:9, NLT).”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
